Redecorating The Living Room
Time To Reclaim Our Living Room
My daughter and her two children, Anna and Tommy, are moving to a place of their own after living 3 years with us. We have given her the couch and coffee table from the living room plus all the furniture from their bedrooms so she will have furniture in the new place. The TV and entertainment system belong to her but she will be leaving the entertainment center as it is too large for her new place. I am sitting here looking at a half empty living room now. It is time to reclaim our living room and make it ours again.
What First?
I have to think of where we want everything
Ok, let's take inventory of what we have left in the room and where we want it to go. The loveseat can stay over by the windows to the front of the house with the file cabinet and air conditioner next to it. The entertainment center and the new TV (we just bought to go in our living room) will have to be moved over by the heater. The boxes of yarn can go in the bedroom to the left down the hall. The recliner will have to go in the first bedroom on the right or where the computer is. The computer will go where the entertainment center is. Ok, that sounds good. We now have to find another loveseat to go with the one that we currently own.
Since I did this drawing myself, I am not sure the dimensions are right for everything. But, you get the idea of what I am talking about.

Not Quite What I Was Looking For

Those were really nice, but not what I am looking for. The colors were either wrong or the style. We are more of a it looks nice but not overly fancy type. You can see the recliner we currently own to see that. I think I will go and shop some more.

Why Doesn't Anything Catch My Fancy?

Let's do some thinking here. What am I missing? I know! I would like to have one of those reclining love seats. I think I will go shopping for one of those.
